A short necklace with Maki-e motif inspired by the phases of the moon.
Large pearls are sprinkled with gold to represent the phases of the moon.
Gold is sprinkled on several asymmetrical beads, giving a gorgeous and modern impression.
The design of the necklace is as if a story is being told inside it.
This item is a testament to the craftsmanship involved in polishing it with a tool called a taiki, which is made from the tooth of a sea bream, to give it an antique look.
The pearls are connected with knots, so they don't float and fit smoothly around your neck.
This necklace exudes a dignified serenity that makes you want to wear it, as if making a wish to the moon.
