This jewelry was born from the desire to create an item that would lift the spirits of women who wear it, using the excellent technique of "Maki-e", rather than making "Maki-e" the main focus.
Each piece is carefully painted by a female artisan active in Kyoto, so if you look closely you will see that each one has a different expression.
By combining traditional Japanese techniques handed down since ancient times with pop patterns, traditional techniques, which tend to be perceived as stuffy, can be enjoyed in everyday life.
The SMILE earrings, which smile gently next to your ear, are also perfect as a gift.
