"I love the powerful light of Okinawa," says bingata artist Noriko Tanaka.
The strong light creates a silhouette of the shadows that stand out clearly, and the colors that shine in the light are incorporated into the fabric to represent the plants and animals that live in Okinawa.

As someone who studied art, Tanaka has created these bingata designs, each one of which can be enjoyed as a work of art.
A little different from traditional Bingata, Tanaka's unique interpretation unfolds a powerful world of Bingata that is delicate and full of vitality.
We also recommend works that feature adorable fish and other creatures.
